Rural Valuation

Our wide experience of a variety of often unique properties perhaps with mixed uses and all the factors influencing them, together with our experience and understanding of providing valuation reports to the varied institutions that require them, gives us the confidence to provide specifically targeted valuation advice.  In addition, our valuers’ experience and that of other specialist staff enables us to give valuation advice in situations where a non-standard or bespoke approach is required, such as in development agreements or where valuations are required that cannot be prepared in accordance with published standards.

RICS Registered Valuers must demonstrate an up to date and detailed knowledge of the type of property being valued and are subject to additional regulatory procedures.

Expert Witness / Independent Expert / Single Joint Expert

The value of property may be disputed (in many cases as part of a wider dispute) and it is often necessary for the parties in dispute to obtain advice or a third party determination of the value of an asset or the provision of evidence to a process of third party determination. We are able to offer valuation services acting as either Expert Witness in accordance with Civil Procedure Regulations or to act as an independent, third party expert valuer.

Agricultural Stock Valuation

In addition to property valuations, Sworders are able to provide agricultural stocktaking valuation reports. Valuations for this purpose must be produced in accordance with published regulations. We have a long history of providing farm stock valuations and are able to ensure the correct methods are used that are often useful in reducing fluctuations in annual tax charges.
