Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme

Farmers have until 4th November to apply for the Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme – with £25 million pounds being made available for this purpose. Farmers are able to apply for grants of £3,000 – £12,000, to enable them to invest in new, innovative technology, with a list of the equipment available being supplied by the Rural Payments Agency. Last year, this included equipment to minimise soil compaction, and equipment monitoring ammonia levels in farm buildings.

Farmers who have previously been successful in applying for previous rounds of the scheme are also able to apply, meaning that they can apply for equipment that helps them move towards more sustainable farming or increased efficiency in their business. Further information can be found on the Rural Payments Agency Website.
